Isolde is a counsellor (QMACA) and qualified body psychotherapist, specializing in performance anxiety, stress management, relationships, tinnitus and personal growth.
She uses a holistic approach to empower her clients to move towards mastery over their difficulties by tapping into their own inner resources. She draws on the individual’s innate ability to heal and grow by working on mental, emotional, physical-energetic and spiritual levels.
Originally trained as a musician and teacher and whilst working with musicians at tertiary level, she also worked with public speakers and performers in general, to overcome performance anxiety, and to develop greater freedom of expression in performance situations. This work led her to the realisation that life itself, in a sense, exists of many small and large performances and that the resulting stress is a core problem in our society (lying at the root of many illnesses). Isolde’s current work as a therapist now focuses on addressing stress and its underlying issues within a multitude of everyday contexts including family, work and relationships.
