Lynette Fox
Counsellor
Lynette trained initially as a teacher specialising in the primary and
early childhood years. Fifteen years ago she made a career change to
her other love, counselling.
She holds a Masters
degree in Education as well as trainer status in Transpersonal &
Emotional Release Counselling. In her private counselling practice,
Lynette specialises in Sandplay Therapy for children, adolescence and
adults having journeyed with many individuals over the years.
She believes that each person has an inbuilt healing capacity. With
respect, support and care, the person's confidence in this healing
function can grow. The person discovers that the answers are within.
Sandplay is a gradual process which allows the inner healing function
to present answers in gentle, fun and profound ways.
Lynette also teaches Sandplay Therapy at "The Portiuncula" Centre in
Toowoomba and to other professionals in the helping professions
throughout Queensland. She also provides quality supervision for
professionals using Sandplay therapy.
