Psychologist

Sue began working with children and families in the early nineties. She has been a registered Psychologist since 1998 specializing in counseling particularly with children and young people, and post-separation work. She is well experienced in running groups for both children and adults, providing professional supervision, coaching and debriefing. Sue is also a registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner with the Attorney General of Australia.

Sue’s passion is for working with children and young people. She is interested in grief and loss generally for adults and children and is currently undertaking  a PhD in the area of post-separation adjustment and grief.

Sue’s clinical experience and expertise covers the following areas:

Children’s counselling

Sexual abuse (all ages)

Adjustment to separation and divorce

(Adults and children)

Stress management (adult)

Grief and Loss issues (adults and children)

Relationship issues (adult)

Trauma (adults and children)

 

 

Sue works creatively with children making use of developmentally appropriate creative mediums including sand tray and Art therapy.

Sue is registered as a Psychologist with the Psychologist Board, A Member of over a decade with Australian Psychological Society (MAPS), a registered Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner with Attorney General Of Australia.  She is also registered with Medicare.

Sue is available for appointments on Mondays all day including after hours by arrangement.
